The Project Manager will be responsible for overall
coordination with customers business and
-
IT requirements as well as all network equipment suppliers.
In this role he/she will report firstly to the Project
steering committee. All integration planning and
coordination between suppliers will be included in this
role.

The identification of all issues and risks, together with
their escalation as necessary will be carried out, as will
the maintenance of network subcontractor costs and
variations. The Project
-
Manager will work closely with all suppliers to ensure that
all required reporting processes are in place and
subsequently used in operations.

The role will be based mainly on site, although supplier
site visits will be required on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualification and Experience:
-
An Information Systems professional with 10+ years
experience in the fields of IT Infrastructure
Industry experience includes Real Estate, Utilities and
Government.

Certified project diploma or certification (Prince 2 or PMP)
-
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Science,
Information Systems, Business and/or equivalent IT
qualification.

Must be able to effectively interact with vendors and / or
suppliers as well as all levels of users including business
unit management and C-level executives.

Strong financial management experience.

Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment.

Demonstrated success in developing and implementing new
technologies and work processes.

Demonstrated competency in inovative strategic thinking and
leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.

Working knowledge of ITIL.
-
Managed numerous projects using Prince 2.
